“ My friend and I took the long drive from Punta Gorda to Babcock Ranch specifically to try The Lake House. I was happy to find some vegetarian entrees and chose Wild Mushroom Papperdelle. My friend ordered the wedge salad with blackened shrimp. We both were satisfied with the meal, though my friend felt the salad would have gotten 5 stars with more blue cheese! The highlight of the meal was our extraordinary server, Chance. We appreciated his precise descriptions of the IPAs offered on tap. He was attentive, friendly, and happy to answer all our questions about Babcock Ranch. The dining room ambiance was comfortable and spacious with beautiful views of the lake. Everything was new and clean. ”

Two of our party ordered their signature grilled pineapple entree and absolutely loved it. I had the Chicken Parmesan and for normally being a basic dish, it did not disappoint. The noodles were some of the best I’ve ever had and the portions are huge! You will not leave hungry! Will definitely be back! ”

“ We visited Babcock Ranch today for the first time and were very happy we did. We took our puppy with us and enjoyed the beautiful doggy park before finding this gem of a restaurant near the towns main square. The restaurant was nicely decorated in a costal beach theme and had a great view of the lake. Austin was our server and he was excellent. He answered all of our questions and was very personable and informative. My wife had the mahi- mahi sandwich platter and I had the shaved ribeye sandwich platter. Both were extremely good! We throughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to a return in the very near future. ”
